 The
"Georgist
Community Fund" (GCF) is an international
society made up of individuals who demonstrate a conscious
understanding of the "georgist" socio-economic paradigm as put forth in the book
Progress and Poverty by
Henry
George, and who also wish to visibly
participate in a growing membership of world-wide support for the
georgist tax
shift proposal: to publicly collect the
value (economic land rent) of land, natural resources,
and social infrastructure monopolies, while untaxing labor,
industry and commerce. By providing a functional and transparent
international membership structure for all individuals who would
like to support the georgist cause, the GCF serves to demonstrate and increase the size, growth,
and scope of active popular support for the georgist reform
proposal in the world at large.
The GCF also provides an ongoing tangible demonstration of the
principle and practice of the public collection of economic land rent and its equitable distribution within the
community. During the year, each member of the GCF may voluntarily donate part or all of their "net
surplus rent income" to the "Land Rent
Common Fund" of the GCF. Then, at the end of each year, to the degree each
member has maintained their membership "active," they
will receive an equal share of the "common fund" as a
"citizen dividend" as demonstration of the communal
distribution of economic land rent (as in the "Permanent Fund" of Alaska, USA ). There is no requirement to
donate to the "common fund" and each member can choose
to what degree they are willing to maintain their membership
"active." Even though a member may not be able or
willing to contribute to the "common fund," if they
maintain their membership minimally active during the year, they
can still participate in the distribution!" |

"Fondo Comunitario Georgista"
(FCG) es
una sociedad internacional
compuesta por individuos que demuestran un conocimiento activo
del paradigma
socio-económico georgista de
acuerdo al libro Progreso y Miseria de
Henry George, y
que también deseen participar visiblemente en una creciente
colectiva de apoyo mundial para la propuesta
georgista de transferencia tributaria: de recoger públicamente el valor (renta

WHAT WE BELIEVE
In accordance with the philosophy of the political
economist
Henry
George, as demonstrated in his book
Progress and Poverty, the
GEORGIST COMMUNITY FUND affirms that:
1) All persons have a common right of access
to, and use of, all of the natural
opportunities of the Earth;
2) All persons
have an absolute right to the exclusive and private ownership of the fruits of
their own labor;
3) The
treatment of all Land and natural resources as common property (commons), and all human labor and
its products as exclusive private property of the individual, is the
fundamental natural law necessary for the freedom and the full
development of the individual, y for the equitable and sustainable progress
of all society.
4) Humanity's non-conformance with this primary natural law of
justice is the fundamental cause of all the socio-economic ills,
inequities, and political conflicts besetting the world today.
5)
THEREFORE, to implement and harmonize these natural individual and
collective rights, the GCF proposes, with Henry George and
all other "georgists" in the World, that the economic rent (value)
of all land and natural
resources
be collected by the community as
its main
source of public revenue, while at the
same time all taxes
on labor and the fruits of labor be eliminated.

NUESTRA CREENCIA
De acuerdo con la filosofía del
economista-filósofo Henry
George,
como demostrado en su libro

FONDO COMUNITARIO GEORGISTA afirma que:

uso de, todas las oportunidades naturales de la Tierra;
2) Todos tenemos el derecho absoluto

nuestro propio trabajo;
3) El tratamiento de toda la Tierra y sus recursos naturales como
propiedad común de la sociedad, y todo el trabajo humano y sus productos
como propiedad privada exclusiva del individuo, es la ley fundamental,
natural y necesaria para la libertad y el pleno desarrollo del
individual y el progreso equitativo y sostenible de la sociedad en
conjunto.
4) La falta de concordancia de la humanidad con esta ley natural
