Who can apply for membership in the GCF?

Internationals who have received a certificate of completion from a recognized Progress and Poverty-based education course, or who can provide credible affirmation of past study or educational/advocacy work based directly upon Progress and Poverty.

CE Superior-level graduates (those with a final grade of 80% or more) of the CEIHG's "Comprender la Economía" course in Nicaragua.

How can I apply and become a member of the GCF?

Internationals can submit the GCF Membership Application Form. Once you are pre-qualified, you will receive an e-mail with a username and password and a direct link to take the GCF online qualifying exam (in English).

Once you are qualified for membership by having scored 70% or more on the exam, you will be sent an e-mail inviting you to fill out and (digitally) sign the Membership Declaration Form. Shortly after we receive your signed form via e-mail, we will e-mail you back official confirmation of your membership.

CE Superior-level graduates (those with a final grade of 80% or more) who graduated on or after July 1st 2014 are automatically qualified for GCF membership.

All other CE superior-level graduates of any previous year are pre-qualified but must qualify by taking the online or written GCF qualifying exam. After qualifying by scoring 70% or more on the exam, they can fill out and submit the Membership Declaration Form to the GCF via e-mail or in person at the CEIHG.

¿Quiénes califican para membresía en el FCG en Nicaragua?

Graduados superiores (los que anotan 80% o más) del curso "Comprender la Economía" del CEIHG de Julio 2014 en adelante.

Todos los demás graduados superiores del curso CE de cualquier año antes de Julio 2014 quienes anoten 70% o más en el examen de calificación del FCG.

¿Cómo hago el examen de calificación del FCG?

Solicite su nombre de usuario y clave para hacer el examen FCG en linea . . .
. . . o haga su examen en persona en el CEIHG (con cita previa).

¿Una vez calificado, ¿qué hago para hacerme miembro formal del FCG?

Lea el documento de Declaración de Membresía que el FCG le manda a su correo-e para confirmar que Ud. está de acuerdo con las afirmaciones de la membresía. Luego, llene los campos indicados y envíelo al correo del FCG. También, ud. puede imprimir, llenar, y entregar el documento personalmente a la oficina del CEIHG. Poco después de que su declaración esté recibida, Ud. recibirá un correo-e del FCG confirmando su membresía.

Participatión in the Georgist Community Fund is easy and virtually without cost. Membership is maintained by passing a qualifying exam facilitated or authorized by the GCF with a qualification of 70% or more once a year.*

For full participatory credit in the GCF "Land Rent Common Fund," a member can be counted as "active" in any or all quarters of the year (Jan-March / April-June / July-Sept / Oct-Dec) by . . .
1) . . . Attending a GCF meeting in person or online (as may be available);
2)  . . . E-mailing to the GCF admin a brief mention of your participation in at least one "pro-georgist" activity (e.g. volunteer work or publicity for a georgist org; speaking on georgism before a group; writing a published letter or article to a newspaper or blog, participating in a second GCF meeting, etc.);

*Members initially registered before mid-year can renew their membership the following February. Those initially registered in the second half of the year can renew in the second February after their registration.
**These norms may be adjusted at any time.

Participación en el Fondo Comunitario Georgista es fácil y virtualmente sin costo. La membresía se mantiene con una calificación de 70% o más cada año en un examen facilitado o autorizado por el FCG.*

Para pleno crédito participativo en el "Fondo Común de La Renta de la Tierra" del FCG, un miembro puede ser contado como "activo" en cualquieres o todos de los trimestres del año (Enero-Marzo / Abril-Junio / Julio-Sept / Oct-Dic) al . . .
1) . . . Asistir a una reunión general del FCG en persona o en línea (como sea disponible);
2) . . . Enviar al correo-e del FCG una breve constancia de su participación en una actividad "pro-georgista" (como trabajo voluntario o ayuda publicitario para una organización georgista, hablar frente un grupo sobre el georgismo, escribir una carta/artículo a la prensa o en un blog, participar en una segunda reunión FCG, etc.);

*Miembros inscritos inicialmente antes el medioaño pueden renovar su membresía el siguiente Febrero. Aquellos inscritos inicialmente en la segunda mitad del año pueden renovar su membresía en el segundo Febrero después de su inscrición inicial.
**Estas normas pueden ser ajustados en cualquier momento.
