|
Participation in the GCF "Community Land Rent Fund" is a way to demonstrate our commitment to return communal land rent to serve the greater community, as well as a manifestation of our demand for recognition of the and equal participation in the rent of land as a universal human right. While we work to convince the world at large to practice communal land rent collection, we can also proactively take the lead by demonstrating and practicing it within our own association. This positive action strengthens our membership and makes our proposal manifestly alive in the real world. Below is the basic information on this optional aspect of membership in the GCF. |
Participación en el "Fondo Comunitario de La Renta de la Tierra" del FCG es una manera de demostrar nuestro compromiso de devolver la renta comunitaria para servir a la comunidad en general, tanto como una manifestación de nuestro reclamo por el reconocimiento de la igual participación en la renta de la tierra como un derecho humano universal.  ¿How and
when can a GCF member make a contribution to the GCF “Community Land Rent Fund”?Members of the GCF can make a voluntary contribution any day of the year, representing a contribution of their "net surplus land rent” to the "Community Land Rent Fund" of the GCF. A member can calculate their approximate "net surplus land rent" by taking into account all their sources of land rent income. (For example, if your family rents out a room in your home, part of the rental income is land rent.) We all pay land rent directly or indirectly in the prices we pay for products and services, but only those who participate in the ownership of land, natural resources and basic monopolies retain directly (impute), or collect from others, the economic benefit of land rent. Thus, (retained land rent + collected land rent) – land rent paid = net land rent (positive or negative). It is assumed that the contribution of a member comes from their "net surplus land rent", but any member who pays more land rent than they receive (which is the majority, of course) can also make a voluntary contribution of "land rent" to the "Community Land Rent Fund" as a symbolic act of solidarity, if they so choose.  ¿How and when
is the annual distribution of the GCF's "Community Land Rent Fund” realized?The distribution to each "active" GCF member from the GCF's "Community Land Rent Fund" can be called a "Citizens' Dividend". The distribution for a calendar year takes place at the end of the year, in late December, or in January of the following year. Each GCF member can receive their "Citizens' Dividend" according to the proportion of complete annual quarters that they are qualified, declared and active as members in the distribution year. For example, a member registered and active for six months in the year (eg July to Dec) will receive 50% of the part of the dividend that that member would have received if they had been declared and active for all 12 months of the year. The GCF notifies our international members by e-mail of their dividend amount and then transfers their portion of the fund to their PayPal account. If a member does not have a PayPal account registered with the GCF, their dividend will be held in pending status for up to one month until the member acquires a PayPal account and notifies the GCF. Dividends not claimed by the end of February are retained in the "Community Land Rent Fund" as new contributions. In Nicaragua (as can be done wherever there may be a local chapter of the GCF and where there is no PayPal service) the "Common Fund" distribution is done during a special year-end or new year GCF distribution celebration with vouchers which can later be cashed in at the CEIHG office. *El GCF reserves the right to adjust these norms at any time. |

cuándo es la próxima distribución del "Fondo Comunitario de La Renta de la
Tierra" del FCG? La distribución anual del "Fondo Comunitario de La Renta de la Tierra" del FCG a cada miembro "activo" del FCG se puede llamar un "Dividendo Ciudadano". La distribución de un año calendario se realiza al fin del año, en diciembre, o en enero del año entrante. Cada miembro del FCG puede recibi su "Dividendo Ciudadano" de acuerdo a la proporción de trimestres enteros que esté calificado, declarado y activo como miembros en al año de la distribución. Por ejemplo: un miembro inscrito y activo por seis meses del año (eg Julio a Dic) recibirá 50% de la parte del dividendo que hubiera recibido si hubiera sido inscrito todos los 12 meses del año. El FCG notifica a nuestros miembros internacionales por e-mail del importe de su dividendo y luego transfiere su porción del fondo a su cuenta de PayPal. Si un miembro no tiene una cuenta PayPal registrada con el FCG, su dividendo será guardado en estado pendiente hasta por un mes hasta que el miembro adquiera una cuenta de PayPal y notifique al FCG. Los dividendos no reclamados a finales de febrero serán conservados en el "Fondo de Renta Comunidad Tierra" como nuevas contribuciones. En Nicaragua (como se puede hacer dondequiera que haya un grupo local del FCG sin acceso a Paypal) la distribución del "Fondo Comunitario de La Renta de la Tierra" se realiza durante una celebración especial del FCG al fin del año por medio de la distribución de vouchers, los cuales pueden ser cobrados por efectivo en la oficina del CEIHG. *El FCG reserva el derecho de ajustar estas normas en cualquier momento. |
